The ocean is a place of life and energy that draws the eye to explore. The interior mural we painted for this lovely family captures this feeling in a graceful underwater world, perfectly composed onto the 3.8m stairwell wall.

The fantastic light fixture provided a challenge in this area, but it adds a wonderful jellyfish aesthetic to the space. We wanted to capture the dynamic movement of bull kelp dancing beneath the west coast waves.The five-colour palette of Golden acrylic fluids perfectly matched to the existing deep teal wall and the gold absolutely pops! The staircase and landing created an interesting and challenging space to work in, especially on a ladder, so the design was freehand sketched and painted directly onto the wall.
