Old City Octopus

In 2016, a group of talented young residents set out to transform Cappy Yates Park, a historic piece of land on Wallace and Bastion Street’s corner, into a walkable park. For the public art portion of the project, Lys was invited to paint the retaining wall outside of the park with a nautical theme.
